Who we serve
The New Song Academy serves a diverse community of learners, welcoming students ages 6 and up, including school-age children, young adults, and older learners. Whether a student is beginning music for the first time, returning to an instrument after time away, or continuing their lifelong musical journey, we strive to meet each musician where they are.
Our lessons and programs are available to students across a wide range of educational settings, including homeschool, hybrid and flex programs, charter schools, private schools, and public schools. We believe that sound music education should be accessible and relevant regardless of a student’s academic path.
Many of our offerings are especially well-suited to families with flexible daytime schedules, including homeschool and hybrid students. We also partner with schools and organizations to provide on-site instruction, such as group classes or block-scheduled private lessons during the school day. These partnerships allow students to receive high-quality music instruction within a familiar learning environment.
The New Song Academy is committed to serving students with a wide range of learning styles and abilities. We welcome and thoughtfully support students who are gifted, as well as those with unique learning needs, including autism, ADHD/ADD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and other neurodivergent profiles. Lessons are structured with care, pacing, clarity, and flexibility, emphasizing understanding, encouragement, and long-term growth.
We also seek to make music education financially accessible to families. Where applicable, we accept and work with scholarship and educational support programs, including Step Up For Students, charter school funds, and other approved educational services as available.
